EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO VERY LOW NUMBERS OF ENTRIES
With just 17 E/1/2/3 entries and 20 Masters race entries, even with the usual last-minute sign-ups, the very low level of entries would leave us with a significant loss beyond the level we can expect our members to subsidise.
Rather than wait until the very last minute, reluctantly, we felt the responsible decision was to cancel the event now and hopefully allow riders to re-plan your races and have time to enter other events.

Info for Riders
Battle of the Braes is Stirling Bike Club's Hilly road race taking place on the 17th August 2019. Situated in the gorgeous surroundings of The Trossachs, the riders will leave the small town of Callander heading south and then west past Scotland's only lake (as opposed to loch) with some smaller hills to warm you up.
The E/1/2/3 riders will then do three complete laps of the Braes of Greenock circuit before the final hill top finish.
As in previous years there will be a good selection of sandwiches, cake, tea and coffee at the venue.
Toilets, showers and changing facllities and ample parking is available .
