About the Event

Info for Riders

This is a reliability ride, and an early season event. A route sheet is provided, but there is no signage. The onus is on the rider to navigate their way around. Road conditions at this time of year are unpredictable. We strongly encourage riders to take considerable care and ensure they are carrying the necessary tools and spares. This is not a race. For riders on the 100km course we have in the past provided a tea stop at the Ashdown Forest. However, we received complaints from the Forest authorities of riders urinating in public. As a result it possible we will not be granted permission to provide refreshments at the Ashdown on future events. Please be respectful to other users of the forest.
