HSBC UK Go-Ride Scottish Cycling R.A.C.E Regional (All Regions) Road

Go-Ride , Lochgelly – Saturday, 19 Jan 2019

Event Summary

Event Overview

This is the first of two regional R.A.C.E sessions which will incorporate all regions together in order to allow work to be undertaken with bigger bunches.  For riders in the NE region, this session is in place of R.A.C.E Regional session 2.

It will be a full day session and will not include any workshop for riders as we wish to take full advantage of the large numbers to maximise practical work.  This is the ideal opportunity for riders looking to ride in the Youth Tour of Scotland to be able to develop race skills in a big bunch environment (as you will experience in the tour) prior to the event.

In addition, there will be a workshop session for parents in the morning covering:

  • Youth rider development in Scotland and the transition to junior racing.
  • Supporting your child.
  • Open forum for discussion/questions.
