Now in its fourth year, the Arran Sportive is an exciting cycling event around the beautiful Isle of Arran, often described as 'Scotland in miniature'.

This challenging open road event covers 56 miles (90km) clockwise around the island.

The Arran Sportive in a tough combination of high mountains, large hills, and undulating coast road. The fast flowing roads, lung-busting climbs and exhiliarating descents ensure an unforgettable day in the saddle. Full of activities, the island is the perfect location for a long weekend. Why not extend your visit and bring family or friends for an adventure filled trip!

The island is easily accessible from the mainland by ferry with short ferry crossings from Ardrossan and Claonaig in Kintyre. Due to limited parking available in Brodick, it is recommended that participants leave their cars on the mainland and board the ferry as passenger only. There is a secure bag drop available at the Events HQ & Registration in Ormidale Sports Pavilion and shower facilities are also available.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The event is organised by and is entirely in aid of youth development charity Ocean Youth Trust Scotland. All proceeds of the event will go directly to the charity to help deliver life changing sail training voyages to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
