Open Road Sportive that starts and finishes on the iconic Promenade of Barry Island before taking in some of  South Wales favourite climbs. Fully supported with great fun loving marshals, mobile mechanic support and well stocked feed and drink stations along the route. This is a challenging route that takes you eastwards from Barry before heading back towards Caerphilly Mountain and then north west before you climb the Bwlch. The final route leg sees riders drop down towards the coast before heading back onto Barry Island for tea and medals..... and maybe an ice cream or two! Your chip timing will include your overall duration and one mountain pass split time. The event will start at 0830 with small departure waves.

There is also the option of a shorter route that splits at Talbot Green before heading south back to the coast and also finishes at Barry Island.

So, you have the option for the 100 mile Caerphilly and Bwlch V12 route or the 75 mile Caerphilly and Vale route.
