HSBC UK Go-Ride - Scottish Cycling #GiveItAGo BMX Session 2

Go-Ride , Cumbernauld – Saturday, 29 Sep 2018

Event Summary

Event Overview

Did you see the fantastic BMX racing as part of the European Championships in August?

Would you like to give BMX a go?   If so and you are aged 6 to 16, read on.

We are promoting 2 #GiveItAGo sessions at Broadwood BMX track in Cumbernauld which will introduce you to the sport of BMX.  On completing the two sessions there will be a chance to sign up for a race for those who want to.  No previous experience is required and all equipment will be provided.  The sessions will introduce you to the track and progress you towards the next level of learning the skills performed by the top racers!

The sessions will be 2 hours and take place as follows:

Session 1-  22nd September 3-5pm

Session 2-  29th September 3-5pm

The cost of each session is £5

Places on each session will be limited and are available of a first come frst served basis

For those who want to try racing, this will take place on the 7th October. You will be provided full instructions how to enter at the sessions.  We have organised the opportunity for you to have a go at a race as part of the Scottish Open BMX Championships so you will get a real experience of the sport – but don’t worry, you’ll have your own race – and you won’t need to have the skills of the pro’s to take part!   You will also get to see the top riders in Scotland racing.
