HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

Info for Riders

Level of camp- Beginner 

 

Suitable for- Beginner  (Must be able to ride unaided and without stabilisers)

Cycling disciplines covered- Mounting, Dismounting, Starting, Cornering, Gear selection, Group riding, 

 

What to expect- Riding on a closed road circuit specifically made for cycling, friendly progressive advice from British Cycling coaches to develop beginners riding skills.  Lots of fun and the opportunity to meet new friends !

 

Please bring – Download and fill in the Parents Consent form which is online.  Working Bike, Helmet / Lunch /Rain Coat/ Suncream spare inner tube, a drink. 

PS bikes and helmets can be Borrowed if Requested.
