Event Overview

HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

Club and racing riders

Suitable for-

Ths camp is for able MTB riders with the ability to handle muddy conditions on various gradients and rough terrain.Two coaches will split the group based on age and ability. The coaching will concentrate on dealing with these conditions and improving handling skills.

Cycling disciplines covered-

Mountain biking

What to expect-

Developing a range of skills using pump tracks and the terrain on the course   

Please bring –

Bring a suitable bike for the session, though some mountain bikes are available each day – remember to let me know if a bike is required because of numbers. 

Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks.

Helmets are compulsory and available to borrow or bring along your own road helmet
