London Summer Cyclocross Series is back with four rounds on Thursday evenings every fortnight through July and August.

5 July - Jubilee Park in Leyton
19 July - Frylands Wood in Croydon
2 August - Beckenham Place Park in Lewisham
16 August - Herne Hill Velodrome in Southwark
Racing starts at 6pm for under 12s, 6.30 for youths and 7.15 for seniors and vets.

You can enter the whole series or one round at a time. Just select your rider category and then 'series' or 'round 1'. Sign on is always busy so you can save time and money by entering all the rounds in advance. Plus we can't guarantee these races won't sell out to the maximum number of riders allowed so a full series entry makes sense.

Chip timing by Beastway pioneered the tail number board. Your entry includes a race number board to stay with you through the series. This helps with points and rider registration at each round.

Bring your number to every round you race, or please return it straight after if you're only riding the once.
Mount the number on your saddle rail and seat post using only the velcro tabs as issued. We'll show you how.
There is a £5 charge for any subsequent number board, whether it's to go on a spare bike or because you forgot your series number. Extra fixing tabs cost 50p each.
So, on with the racing ! Round 1 at Jubilee Park in Leyton is a great venue with some fun features that have provided photo opportunities in previous years.

Our race times are kept consistent through the series and reflect the need to finish the final round before it gets completely dark.

Pre-entry may be essential for this event, especially because it's the opening round and will be very busy. It takes a lot of time to get riders signed-on and take payment when entering on the day. Pre-entries only have to sign in as present and will have a series number pack already allocated.

That said, we do welcome entries on the day, and remember Beastway accepts card payment in preference to cash.

Info for Riders

Sign on and HQ is in the park pavilion where there will be changing, toilets and light refreshments.

Car parking is limited all around the park.

Sign-on and race results is being run by Beastway Timing, using its chips and software. We will have a lot of number boards to get to pre-entered riders, so it's likely that entering on the day will be a slow process.

There will be a separate table for pre-entries at sign-on. Make sure you don't join the long queue for entering on the day.
