A non-competetive fund raising charity cycle ride organised by the Dewsbury Ambulnace Charities (DAC) from Dewsbury Hospital to Bridlington Harbour. Now into the 32nd year, the main aim of the evnt is to raise sponsors (or entry fee) to help the DAC to fund Local and Regional charity organistaions and workstreams. About the Event

Info for Riders

This is a fun cycle ride event from Dewsbury to Bridlington (78 miles). It is not signed or fully marshalled but a route map is provided and we do have volunteers on the route at strategic locations.We hope to shortly have a strava/gps link. We have back up vehicles and 2-3 refreshment stops. We have the use of showers at Bridlington and cyclists can place a bag on the back up truck which will be at the Harbour upon your arrival. Coach will return cyclists (leave Bridlington 1800hrs)and Truck will bring bicycles back. Families and supporters can catch the coach from Dewsbury to Bridlington for a small donation fee to meet and greet those taking part. Although this is a fun event and non-competitive please be aware it is a long distance please ensure you have the fitness and appropriate equipment to participate. ORGANISERS MUST BE CONTACTED BEFORE THE EVENT SO WE CAN GAUGE NUMBERS AND PLAN etc.
