Event Summary

Event Overview

Open to riders who can complete the following:

  • Clip in on first attempt when setting off
  • Ride side by side making contact with another rider
  • Perform correct cornering technique 
  • Perform rear wheel lift consistently with flat pedals 
  • Perform a controlled lift of the front wheel
  • Negotitate straight line descents while maintaining ready position
Riders must also be:

-          Aged 10-16 years old and who are a member of a Go Ride club

-          Interested in upskilling their current skills

-          Want to aim to race in the future if they haven't previously

-          British Cycling Members (Free for the first Youth Year from British Cycling) https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership

Club clusters are a way for riders from different clubs to come and learn together. The session will be 50% skill and 50% fitness so please come with an open mind ready to learn. This is also an opportunity to join the development pathway before moving to a performance program such as a Club Cluster of Training 14 years old +

Please bring a MTB bike in good working order (with two working brakes), a helmet, gloves, drink, snack bars, puncture repair equipment and lots of enthusiasm! Open to riders 10-16 Years old.
