Event Overview
Now in its fourth year, the KCC backed Good Friday Sportive is the first in a series of events organised by Cyclopark, Kent’s premier cycling facility. With a choice of two distances, this sportive is the perfect way to start your Easter weekend either for yourself or something for the full family.
This year the popular Sportive has been backed by KCC, looking to combine a successful sportive and incorporating something for all the family to promote popular tourist destinations around Kent. Did we mention that children ride free on the family ride route?
Included in the ride:
- Finisher medal
- Feed stations for each ride (Holborough Lakes 35 miles) (Risi Bici Cafe Deli portable vender 7-9 miles)
- Broom wagon
- Mechanical support
- Food and celebration after ride
- Signposted route with Cyclopark specific arrows
- Timing

About the Event
Info for Riders
We are wanting to make sure that this is a fun filled day, it's not about who comes first or who comes last it is about the social element that comes with entering a ride like this. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate Good Friday with us at Cyclopark.
After a warm up lap of the Cyclopark circuit, our route heads into the quiet lanes of the surrounding Kent countryside and offers up a challenge to both experienced and recreational riders who can expect some testing climbs, fast flats and exhilarating descents!
For all those that are experiencing a sportive for the first time, all roads will be heavily signed for yourself and any friends/family members to easily find your way around either route without needing all the fancy gadgets you see out on the roads these days.
Once you have finished the event, there will be a celebration to enjoy back here at Cyclopark where each participant will be treated like a winner and rewarded for getting themselves out there!
