Info for Riders

HSBC UK Go-Ride programme’s Rider Development Sessions Women & Girls provide dedicated coaching for people wanting to improve their cycling performance whether that is to ride further faster and more often with family and friends or to win bike races. Using traffic free facilities Go-Ride Coaches will help riders:

  • Ride with friends and others of similar ability
  • Develop bike handling techniques
  • Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
  • Practice racing and learn about the demands of cycle sport
  • Develop cycling fitness

These session will be for female riders only, that want a safe traffic free environment to learn and enhance the existing road bike skills and techniques.

The session is aimed for riders that have an interested in racing or looking to race on improve there ability to ride in a bunch.

Riders Must be a British cycling member and have a road bike with Drop bars and gears.

The Session will be a mix of Physical and Technical bunch/race skills.

BC Membership.

Helmet and Gloves.

Appropriate clothing for a two hours session (two bottles & snacks)

Be prepared for a good physical work out with techniques coached through out the session on improving all aspects of your bike riding.
