Event Overview

A New route for 2018. Graded by British cycling as "at the difficult end of Grade 2".  A challenging,  hilly ride taking in the best that the 1066 region has to offer. The route starts and finishes at the Iconic De La Warr Pavilion and  passes Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle and many Norman Churches on the route. Enjoy well posted country lanes, panoramic views and a sea side finish. This event is being run in association with British cycling and the 1066 cycling festival - based in Hastings and Bexhill 9th-10th June 2018.   • 50 mile route taking in Bodiam Castle and Battle Abbey.
  • Challenging Hills and Beautiful country lanes
  • Registered with British Cycling.
  • Start / Finish at De La Warr Pavillion
  • Part of the 1066 cycling Festival
  • Goodie Bags  for all entrants
  • Water and food stations – with First aid support.
  • Cytech Trained Mechanics in support.
  • FREE parking for first 100 online applicants (worth £8.40)
  •  £18 Online price (includes free parking for first 100)
  •  £25 on the day (no free parking)
  • GPX files available
  • Fully sign posted and mapped route.
