Ben Wyvis Cycle Club is proud to host the final round of the Scottish Cycling North Cyclocross series at the Black Isle Showground, Muir of Ord.

A flowing loop round areas of the showground and adjacent heath and woodland.This is classic cyclocross over ever-changing terrain with plenty of challanging features and tight twisty turns mixed with wide fast sections to promote great CX racing. Expect a few new twists to the course from round 2!

Directions: From A9 Tore Roundabout, exit along the A832 towards Muir of Ord. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto the B9169 signposted “Muir of Ord industrial estate” turn right into the main showground entrance and park as directed.

Info for Riders

*On the closing date of 1st March, there were no entrants for the under 10/12 races (the 2 entered have now withdrawn) so this race has been dropped from the programme. The rest of the event will go ahead as planned starting at 12 noon with the under 14/16s.*

Entry for all races is on-line only (no on-the-day entries)

Entry closes at 10pm on Thursday 1st March

£1 British Cycling fee is charged at point of on-line payment.

Sign on is in the Race HQ building which will be open from 9:00am.

• If you are not a British Cycling member, you will have to pay a Day Licence/ Membership (no cost for U16s, £3 for all other categories) Please have a cheque or cash to pay at sign on.
• At Sign On, the team will instruct you where to pin your Race Number and how to wear the Electronic Timing Chip.

Under 14/16 's may race a shortened course depending on conditions.

Mountain bikes as well as Cyclocross bikes are accepted in all categories.

Pits will be marked out for bike / wheel changes if required.
