HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Level of camp- CLUB AND RACING RIDERS

Suitable for- INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED mountain bike riders aged 6-16

Cycling disciplines covered- MTB, Cyclocross, Grass Track racing, Cycle speedway

What to expect- 4 hours of cycling  developing skills and techniques building confidence and exploring Parkwood Springs trails, also the opportunity to have a go at grass track racing/speedway and learn about local clubs !

Please bring – Bike (must have front/rear working brakes) Appropriate clothing for the weather including long fingered gloves !!

A helmet - no riding allowed without one.

FOOD AND A DRINK

The session will be run by Andy Akers and Jake Ragan - BC Go Ride coaches for Sheffield suoted by coaches from a number of local clubs.

A limited number of mountain bikes and helmets will be available to borrow - please indicate if you need one when booking
