Event Summary

Event Overview

Welcome to Ride North Norfolk formerly the Fakenham 25/50/100 with country routes to suit everyone.  We thought the new name, Ride North Norfolk, better describes what we do.  We are now in our sixth year and still going strong.

This year we have our popular routes ranging from 15 to 36 miles and we are continuing last year’s new 62 mile (100k) route which can link to the original route offering a full 100 miles.

Go local. We are a locally organised but professionally run cycle ride.  We pride ourselves on our community involvement and relaxed, friendly rides. Where possible we use local companies, local clubs, locally sourced produce and cakes.  Everyone is welcome to join us to enjoy our beautiful town and its surrounding countryside. You can ride for just fun or to support your own charity or our official charity.

Ride North Norfolk is an enjoyable; non-competitive sportive, starting from the picturesque North Norfolk market town of Fakenham and goes through some of the best, gentle cycling routes in the country. It is the culmination of an exciting nine days of activities in and around the town.

There are various options (approximate lengths) 15 miles, 25 miles or 36 miles 62 miles (100k).  Or combine for up to 100 miles.  Each rider will be provided with insurance, a map, signage, registration, marshals, mobile mechanics, support, rescue service, drinks and refreshments (including our famous homemade flapjack) on route, advice and information. Discounts for groups of 4 people and accompanied under 16s. Download files will be available and maps will be given to all riders. We have been told that our arrows and signage make these unnecessary and are clear to follow.

Every rider gets a free branded useful drawstring bag, drinks bottle, a medal or trophy and other extras.

Music, massage and nourishment at the community centre and gardens, including bar, hot food, stalls, massage, 1st aid, activities, food, drink and music and more cakes.  This is open to both riders and non-riders.
