Info for Riders

Rider Development Sessions for Paracycling are dedicated coaching sessions for disabled riders who want to keep fit, have fun and improve performance through regular coaching sessions. Both experienced and new riders of any age will be eligible to attend the sessions, which are open to all disabled riders. There are a number of different adapted bikes at the venue including handcycles and trikes with more equipment to be added as required. Riders should contact the lead coach Stuart Twigg beforehand to discuss their individual needs, including their aspirations, requirements for the session and if they need to book any equipment.

 

*Please note the session 10am-11am is an open coaching session for all riders to get support with their riding and to evaluate what support they need to get them cycling more. Parents/guardians are more than welcome to join in with this fun and enjoyable session.*

 

*The 11am-12pm session is an open rider development session for more experienced riders who would like to improve their fitness and performance levels. The sessions will vary from development coaching to group roller/turbo traning to improve technique and fitness levels. Please contact the lead coach Stuart Twigg before the session if you don’t yet have your own rollers/turbo and we will try and supply one.*
