British Cycling National Championships are only open to British Nationals who hold a full UCI Recognised competition licence with GBR upon it and a current/valid British Cycling Gold or Silver Membership

Derby Arena Track Cycling Grand Prix & National Madison

Derby Arena’s open track cycling competition, attracting national standard track cyclists. Competing in a range of events, a scratch, points, elimination and a 10 Mile GP final.

HSBC National Madison for both Male and Female riders. This will be a thrilling finish to the GP and we look forward to some great racing.

Doors open 11:00 am for the Grand Prix 

Grand Prix finals starting at 5pm with the party atmosphere in full swing

Racing starts at 12pm with a scheduled finish time of approximately 8pm.

Standard ticket price £10, concessionary under 16s & over 60s £3, under 12 months are free

Info for Riders

•Sign on opens from 10.30 in the cafe for sprint and endurance A,B riders.

•Riders are asked to arrive and set-up their equipment from 10.30 onwards so that the races can begin at 12.00 prompt.

There will be a track warm up starting at 11.15 for female, male riders at 11.30, sprinters at 11.45.

If riders are not ready for the race when called up they will miss that specific race.

•Please keep the cycling D/ provided space tidy and organised for the safety of the race administrators and riders.

 •Entry is priced per group of either endurance, Keirin or Madison.

 •Riders can enter more than one group.

 •Entrants to the Madison must specify a partner and be riding in a matching kit. A description of the kit must be provided to ensure no crossover with other teams.

 •Sign on for the Madison opens at 15.00 for youth and 16.30 for seniour's. 

 •As part of the event promoting Derby Arena we would like to interview and obtain rider biographies.
