About the Event

Info for Riders

The GB Para-Cycling Team is searching for the future stars who could compete at the 2020 Paralympic Games and beyond. Are you a future Para-cycling Champion? Have you got what it takes? This event is an opportunity to practice your race routines and delivery of timed events at a British Cycling, Para-cycling only, coach led track race training.

This is the second of two events over the 2018 season that will prepare Paracycling athletes for national track championships and future C1 international track events.

This is conveniently timed 6-weeks post the 2018 Para-cycling national track championships to allow riders to look to improve and build upon their performances delivered at the track championships before the start of the road season in April.

During the day you will have the opportunity to;

1. Talk with British Cycling Performance staff

2. Practice your pre-race routine and deliver a timed sprint and endurance effort based on Paralympic distances for your category

3. Get advice on the areas you need to improve to better your time for the next event and national track championships.

To be able to enter this event you should have track experience of riding safely and confidently around a Velodrome to maximise the opportunity provided at this session.
