Wootton Riders Sportive is an on-road, non-competitive event for riders from the experienced to the beginner. Our three circular routes take our riders through the picturesque scenery of the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire countryside, winding up challenging hills, through stunning villages on quiet country roads.

Our routes are well sign posted, with easy to read arrow directions with warning signs to caution our cyclists prior to uneven surfaces. All routes have well stocked feed stations.

All participants receive complimentary bananas and energy bars on arrival.

HQ has nutritional meals, snacks and refreshments for purchase,

Our cyclists are supported with mobile first aiders and bicycle assistant teams.

The sporty 50km is designed to inspire new comers from the age of 8 to have a go. The Tough 60km and Epic 110km is more for the serious Sportive Riders with challenging aspects.

This event is organised by Friends of Wootton School, (Charity Number 1091909) to raise much needed funds for Wootton-by-Woodstock CE (Aided) Primary School. The entry fee will go towards educational trips, specialized learning resources, sports equipment, books and ICT equipment.
