With many thanks to the National Trust we are pleased to welcome you to the Minehead Merlin's Dark Skies Cycling event!

As part of the Exmoor Dark skies festival we are running an an entry level race event for riders under 16yrs with little or no experience of competitive cycling. It can be done on any off road bike with no need for BC or Minehead Merlin's membership. Just turn up, get your parent/guardian to sign a consent form and enjoy the event!

Registration from 1600. First race starting at 17:00.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The races will be split as per British Cycling age categories under 16, 14, 12, 10 & 8yrs. With the under 8’s cycling loops for 10mins, the under 10&12’s cycling loops for 20mins and the under 14 & 16’s cycling for 30mins.

Entry Fee which is payable on the day is £3 and registration will be in the carpark at Webbers Post.

The mountain bike trail is part of the Wildlife Corridor which was created to help regenerate this area to benefit habitats for wildlife. We are very grateful to the National Trust (Holnicote Estate) for allowing us to run the event in this beautiful location and would encourage you to read the info at the event.
