Monument Cycling is bringing elite racing to Saffron Walden for the first time since Le Tour de France visited in 2014. 

The Saffron Walden Grand Prix will take place on a 14.3km circuit, completed 12 times, with each lap passing through the centre of the town. The circuit is the perfect mix of fast roads, winding country lanes, challenging climbs, and technical descents. 

The race will be run on closed roads.

The Saffron Walden Grand Prix takes place on the rolling roads of north west Essex, offering a unique opportunity to race in this historic location. From hosting Cromwell's army to welcoming Le Tour de France, Saffron Walden is a race host like no other.

There will be food vendors and a mass particpation event to compliment the Elite race, giving spectators and riders of all levels the opportunity to enjoy the weekend in with thousands of spectators.
