About the Event

Info for Riders

All riders must be 9 years old and over at the time of the cluster for insurance purposes.

If this is your first-time riding please state this at the time of booking, all riders who have rode before please book yourself into the group you have been riding unless a coach has previously told you to move up a group.

On the day please make sure you bring yourself lots of snacks and fluids to keep you going through the morning, (energy gels are not recommended for your use)

Movement between groups on the day may be possible so if you believe you are ready for the next group but have not yet been told, talk to your coach on arrival and we can look at the possibility of moving you during the morning but please remember riding the track is not always about speed and our coaches focus will be on your bike control to ensure your and the rest of the groups safety and progression.

To try to ensure we have the correct number of bikes available for use on the morning please email me (details can be found on event page) your required bike size. Sizes available are (metric) 39, 45, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60

To aid preparation on the morning we have staggered the arrival times

Advanced - arrive by 8.30am for 9.00am track session

Intermediates – arrive 8.30am-8.50am for 9.20am track session

Novice – arrive 8.45am -9.00am for 9.40am track session.

This will reduce the congestion signing on and selecting bikes if required.

A rider information and coaching consent form is required for all riders please bring this will you and point out any medical conditions to your coach on arrival, forms can be downloaded from https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/coaching/article/coa20091014_tools_forms
