Event Overview

I would like to invite you to take part in this year’s charity bike ride, run by Medway Velo Club, to raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance Trust. Held on Saturday 16th September 2017, this is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself whilst helping a good cause at the same time. No matter what your ability this can be as challenging or as leisurely as you want it to be.

There are two routes to choose from. Both routes start and finish at “The Iron Rooms” Boughton Aluph Village Hall, near Ashford, TN25 4HP. The first is a 100 kilometre (62 mile) route around rural roads in the Canterbury area. The second is a more manageable 30 kilometre (18 mile) route on similar quite rural roads, but with the absence of any difficult hills. There will be a feed station on the 100 kilometre route and all finishers will receive a medal.

Book in advance at £14.00 per adult & £7.00 per child (under 14)

Event can be found on the British Cycling website

Entry on the day is £18.00 per adult or £9.00 per child (under 14)

(Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 ride free but must be accompanied by an adult)

All proceeds from the day will be donated to:

THE KENT AIR AMBULANCE TRUST. AFR NO:26558

Help Support the air ambulance; providing an essential life saving service to every person, living, working and travelling through Kent, Surrey and Sussex 365 days a year.

The Kent air ambulance trust does not receive any financial aid from the Government, NHS or National Lottery. Every penny of the £5 million per year is needed to provide this vital service. Every penny comes from voluntary donations.
