Women and Girls Rider Development Session Beginner

Go-Ride , Ashton-Under-Lyne – Thursday, 13 Jul 2017

Event Summary

Event Overview

Road Bike session. Aimed at female riders who are relatively fit but want to improve their technical ability and confidence on a bike. These sessions will cover the techniques required to participate in racing on a circuit or time trialling. It will include things such as cornering, pedalling, gear selection and basic group riding. The desire to compete isn't essential as these skills will improve your riding whatever the context.

Don't worry if you cant make all the sessions as the sessions will be linked and you will be fine joining at any point.

The sessions are very inclusive covering a mix of technique and physical areas and will be aimed at novices wanting to get good basic technique.

These will be at the same time as the more advanced female session but on a different part of the circuit.

If you have any questions on these sessions please ask on here or email me at johnwych@britishcycling.org.uk

Plan is to run these on Thursdays on an ongoing basis.
