Event Overview

A Festival for all the family, Enjoy a fantastic fun packed day for all the family… children of all ages will enjoy the events in and around our Velo Village.  Whether its a first timer fun race or learning new riding skills there is something for every age. Mountain bikes, BMXs, dads old chopper are all welcome, Summit MTB Club will be  there with their superb Go ride events, and don’t forget the  Family & Vintage Parade around  the Penn House Estate open to anyone wanting to enjoy the relaxed summer atmosphere, with a leisurely ride and a traditional Picnic at the end of it, a great event for the whole family to take part in... and if you want to dress you and your bike up for the occasion you can be part of the Concors D'elegance parade. With prizes awarded for the most eye catching and creatively inspired interpretations of our "Classic British" theme there's going to be some rather splendid high jinx for everyone.

The Penn House Vintage & Family ride is a non competative ride held annually within the grounds of Penn House Estate. Comprising a mix of Paved, Gravel and Grass tracks in this historic location, its a great way for all ages to enjoy the simple pleasure of a relaxed Summer bike  ride. Each lap is approx 1.5km and the ride is 3 laps long with the option to do more or less in the given time (depending on how far little legs, old legs, classic bikes etc. will carry you)
