This family fun ride was previously organised by Louise Hanen and her wonderful Acorn Committee. Ripon Rotary Club organised the 2017 ride and we are now planning for our 2018 ride on May 12th. The ride route is the same 100k mainly over flat terrain. This is a sponsored bike ride raising money for the same main charities - Dementia Forward, Scleroderma Research and additional charities supported by Ripon Rotary Club. The water/refreshment stops are the same as previous years (every c17k) as are the cakes at the end - but freshly baked! The ride starts and finishes at Bishop Monkton Village Hall, taking you through Roecliffe, Boroughbridge, Brafferton, Raskelf, Easingwold, Stillington, towards Sheriff Hutton over to Aldwark Bridge, Martum *** Grafton, Arkendale and back to Bishop Monkton. On signing up at www.riponrotarybikeride.org you will receive newsletter updates and our registration goes live in November 2017 so the route, safety pack and sponsorship forms will all be available via e mail.

Info for Riders

Taking place on Saturday 12th May 2018 comencing at 08.00hrs. This bike ride takes you through some beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire , entrants must be minimum 16yrs of age. Technical support along the route is again available through Chevin Cycles and first aid support available via St Johns Ambulance. Cycle helmets must be worn. There are plenty of water/refreshment and toilet stops at circa every 17k. You will be raising much needed funds for Dementia Forward, Scleroderma research and charities supported by Ripon Rotary Club. Registration fee is £30 and £40 for on the day entrants.
