Event Summary

Event Overview

Malvern Cyclesport in conjunction with Worcester Cycle Centre are very proud to present this 50 mile road charity event in memory of Charlie Craig. By the exceptionally kind permission and understanding of Eastnor Estate, please come and support this very special road event and help us to remember and pay tribute to the tragic loss of a very special young man. All proceeds will go to the chosen charity and at £7.50 to enter, is megatastic value. The 50 mile route has now been announced, and our road event team is bringing you all a fantastic ride around the picturesque and challenging roads of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcestershire. They couldn't leave out The Malverns and the route will feature two very nice ascents of this beautiful range of historic hills. This event will run alongside our already established Mountain Bike event in Eastnor Park on the same day and should bring both disciplines of our fantastic sport together in one big charity festival. Once you have finished your ride, give yourselves a big pat on the back and take time to relax. With that in mind, please don't rush off as the main XC mtb races will be happening in the afternoon at the main event centre. Sorry, but please don't expect goodie bags and event t-shirts etc, as all funds raised will quite rightly go to the charity. Because we are a promoting club run by enthusiasts, our interest and passion for cycling is reflected in our low entry fee. However, if attendees so wish, then further opportunity will be available on the day for donation.
