Event Summary

Event Overview

The Mull Sportive is a friendly volunteer-run run event, laid on by the Mull Cycle Club. There are two routes on offer, both taking full advantage of the island's glorious scenery.  Cycling Weekly rate the event among their top 20 Sportives for 2017. We can offer a challenging ride in a uniquely beautiful setting, riding along the quiet single-track roads that twist their way around Mulls coastline.  There is full marshalling, singage, well-stocked feed stops and at the end a finishers' meal to enjoy. New for 2017 we are also adding electronic timing.

About the Event

Info for Riders

There are two courses - 70 and 140km. Both feature some tough climbing - see our website for a profile. This is not a closed road event, but it hardly needs to be! Mull is a sparsely populated, wild part of the world where you will need to pay more attention to wandering sheep and distracting scenery than to cars.

The start and finish is in Tobermory, in the North of the island. The long route begins at 8am, and the short route at 9am. Full rider instructions will be sent to entrants before the event, but due to the location you will need to be in Tobermory the prior evening for rider registration.
