Accreditation Information
Riders need to be accredited to race in Welwyn Track League.  Riders who have ridden at Welwyn Track League in the last 3 years or raced at similar events at recognised indoor/outdoor velodromes within that time will be given automatic accreditation. 

If you are not eligible for automatic accreditation, but would still like to race, you can attend one of the Open Track Training sessions on Monday evenings to be assessed and accredited by Welwyn coaches.


Registration
All riders must register before they can race.  Registration forms can be found at http://www.welwynwheelers.org.uk/track-league.

There is no need to register separately for each meet.  Registered riders are automatically entered into all race meets.

Fees
Registration fees (one-off)
Seniors - £10
Youths - £5

Race Fees (per meet)
Seniors and Youths riding in Senior categories -  £10
Youths - £5

Race fees apply only to the meets that you race in – no ride, no charge.

Other
Number deposit - £5
Bike Hire (per bike, per meet) - £5

All payments should be made on the night and by cash/cheque only.

Open Track Training Session – weekly from April 3 to September 11
Monday evenings from 19:00-21:00 at Gosling Sports Park.


Riders wishing to attend Open Track Training should already be competent track riders. Riders are expected to have all basic track skills and to ride confidently on all areas of the track whilst taking into consideration the safety of the other riders. 

Riders wishing to be assessed to race Welwyn Track League should make themselves known at sign on from 18:30. Riders will be issued with a bib by the sign on team for identification purposes during the training session. If successfully accredited, riders will be able to take part in Track League, although will still be under initial probation at the discretion of the TL Promotor and Commissars.

Riders new to track and wishing to take up track racing should contact trackleague@welwynwheelers.org.uk for information on novice sessions.
