Event Overview

A non-competitive reliability ride in aid of Myton Hospice with the aim to raise as much money as possible and to enjoy a beautiful ride in Warwickshire lanes.

With two routes 40 & 77 miles appealing to leisure cyclist and the more serious guys and girls wanting to get some miles in for a good cause. 

Once again, we will start the event from our store in Kenilworth with a road closure up the Old high street.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Starting from Mike Vaughan Cycles in Kenilworth. Free Parking is available in Abbey fields (limited spaces)  & Abbey End 1/2 mile and Square West.

We have two routes which can be uploaded to GPS units beforehand through our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Mikes.Myton/

Riders can start on mass although smaller manageable groups would be appreciated so as not to alienate local motorist.

Riders of the Longer route would be advised to start at 9am with the shorter route riders waiting for a clear run down Rouncil Lane after 9.30

The Route shall be signed posted up to Norton Lindsey at the T junction. Splits Left for short & Right for the long route. After this junction, it's advisable to have down loaded the route to a GPS device or to pick up a map & route cue sheet. We will however fully sign the routes.

A back up vehicle will be on hand to offer service and assistance to any stranded rider taking part in the event. Please make a note of the emergency number on the day.

There will be plenty of refreshments available (free Tea, coffee & cakes from our store) and for you to purchase from Virgins & Castle pub & Alexa Lauren Patisserie.

 Paper maps and cue sheet instructions can be collected on the morning of the event.

Helmets are required as a condition of our insurance.
