A brand new road race to hit the South West. Organised by Cycles Scuderia and supported by Blights Motors. For a number of years North Devon has been missing a big road race. With this course and the amount of riders locally, hopefully this can change.

The course that is used is suited to no rider in particular. One side being a "draggy" climb, one a rolling road along typical North Devon roads and the final a fast slalom back towards Bideford. One complete lap is just shy of 20 miles. The race will complete 3 full laps and one side of the triangle, finishing on the long straight climbing past Melbury Reservior.

Total race distace is 65 miles (105km)

Info for Riders

The HQ is at Cycles Scuderia.The rider briefing will also take place here. Once this has happened the riders will meet approx. 1 mile away in the big layby at Little America. This is on the left hand side about 400 meters after the Bideford sign along the A386. From here the race will be neautralised along the A386 to Landcross. The convoy will turn right and head into Whitehall. From here the flag will be dropped and the race will begin.

Following the road along the forever slightly rising valley, the riders will pass the finish line for the first time where 3 laps will remain. 

Just under 1 mile past the finish line the race will take a left at Powlers Piece cross roads and head along the undulating roads to Stibbs Cross, where the race will again take a left followed by another immediate left onto to A388 and follow the super quick road through Frithelstock and Saltrens to Landcross. From here another left will be taken to drop to the bottom of the valley again and the start of the next lap at Whitehall.
