Woodside Link Cycling Celebration - A family fun day

9:45 for 10am - Meet on the link road at the Time Trial sign on.

Entry is FREE, with pedestrian & cycle access from Wheatfield Road, Lewsey Farm LU4 0TR or Frogmore Road, Houghton Regis LU5 5UP.

Woodside Link Road from Poynters Road to the M1 won't be open to traffic for a while, so there will be some special cycling related events on the closed road.

Attractions will include:

Skills and thrills, ride round the cones under the limbo and through the obstacles and Cycle racing Time Trials for under16 year olds, organised by Icknield Road Club.

And an opportunity for people of all ages to leisurely cycle up and down the new road from 12noon.

Extreme Mountain Bike Show
Live music from The Situators
Dr Bike for bike advice & repairs
Food van
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue fire engine
Central Bedfordshire Council exhibition marquee
Cycling Forum stand with leaflets and information on local cycle routes

12pm to 2pm. There will be an opportunity for people of all ages to leisurely cycle up and down the new road.
