Event Overview

The CFC Sportive starts and finishes at the Racecourse in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire.   This will be the 6th edition of the event, formerly known as “The Wheel Heroes”.  The 150 mile ride is a time restricted (12 hour) endurance ride; the event is perfect timing for people going to the L’Etape du Tour, La Marmotte, London to Paris, Dragon ride etc. or for those just looking to push their boundaries.

Stratford Racecourse is a fantastic venue with camping and all the facilities you could need for this kind of event including free parking, changing area and showers (50p).  We start early, The 150 mile ride starts at 7am with a mass start. The 100 and 64 mile rides start between 8am and 9.30am on a first come first served basis.  The 30 miles starts at 10am.  Registration for all rides will be open from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday 28th May and from 6.30am to 10am on ride day 29th May at Race HQ at the centre of course Pavillion at Stratford Racecourse.

Info for Riders

What’s included in my entry? Free parking Saturday and Sunday sign on, Chip Timing, extensive Start/Finish area. Individual bike numbers, Hi Viz Route signage Event Photographer, On course mechanics/broom wagon. Fully stocked feed stations and one water/energy stop, New bespoke medal, Free post ride hot food, Spot Prizes and licensed bar. Once you are entered you will need to sign on at ride HQ at Stratford Racecourse, CV37 9SE between 2pm – 6pm on Saturday 27th May 2017 or from 6am – 10am on Sunday 28th May 2017. Here you will receive your bike numbers, timing chip, etc. You will also have time to study the route and shop around the retail offers from Cotswold Cycles, Trek, Discount Cycle Wear etc. We recommend registering on Saturday, particularly if you are doing the 150 mile route as there will be a mass start for this distance at 7am on Sunday morning. There are 1000 places for the event.
