Event Overview

 Paracycling sessions are dedicated coaching sessions for riders with physical and learning disabilities who want to keep fit and develop their skills and technique through coached sessions. Both experienced and new riders of any age will be eligible to attend the sessions. There are a number of different adapted bikes at the venue including handcycles, trikes and tandems. Riders should contact the lead coach Simon Wilson beforehand to discuss their individual needs, including their aspirations, requirements for the session and if they need to book any equipment.

 

* Please note the session 10am-11am is a facilitated session for beginner riders with physical and /or learning disabilities.  The session provides riders the opportunity to get active and receive support with their riding in a traffic free secure environment. We have a number of adapted bikes on site, which include handcycles, trikes and balance bikes for non-riders.  Parents/guardians are more than welcome to join in with this fun and enjoyable session.*

 

*The 11am-12:30pm session is a coached rider development session for experienced riders with physical and /or learning disabilities. Who would like to improve their skill, fitness and performance levels.*
