Newport Live Spring Track League 2017 Week 1

Event Summary

Event Overview

Spring Track League will be a 4 league format. Each league will comprise a 5 race program including Scratch, Points, Elimination Race and two others. The exact details will vary week by week as in previous years. Sign on will open at 1800 and close strictly at 1840. Riders briefing is at 1845 and racing will start immediately the briefing closes. Attendance at the riders briefing is compulsory.

Regional C event. No ranking points for overall series.

Leagues will be amended for 2017.

Masters League will be open to all riders aged 40 plus and ideal for those who regularly ride SQT or Vets sessions.

C League is a youth league for riders beginning their racing career in U14 and U16 categories. U12’s may become accredited and enter the Youth League in exceptional circumstances.

B League is for strong Youth B riders, Youth A, juniors and seniors looking to improve fitness to move into A League. Inexperienced Youth riders will be expected to start in C League.

A league contains strong and skilful riders from Youth A, junior and seniors.

For all Track Leagues: Pre enter online via http://www.newportlive.co.uk or via Reception to guarantee a place. (Phone bookings can no longer be taken). Track League is for Accredited Riders only. Proof of accreditation at another indoor velodrome can be made via endorsement on a British Cycling Race licence.

Entry £9.80 Adult and £6.45 Youth (Under 17 years) Please be aware that there will not be track warm up time to accommodate the full program. Racing will start immediately the rider briefings finish. Please bring your own rollers/turbo etc.
