Event Overview
6 CX races held every Wednesday evening, 6-9pm from the 20th of July. Being held at Dalton Barracks, Abingdon.
The racing is designed to be simple and fun. The event is perfect for the total novice wanting to have a go, or the more serious rider lookijg for the ideal preparation to race during the Autumn/Winter.
No points or prizes are on offer...pay your entry, turn up, ride, smile, go home...simple!
The venue offers hard standing for parking, and a massive area for racing...useable under all weather conditions. All 6 races will be different with the lap being reconfigured each week.

About the Event
Info for Riders
Racing will consisit of 3 catagories; Under 12's, under 16's and then all others (seniors/vets/male/female).
Under 12' - 10 minutes
Under 16's 20 minutes
Seniors/vets - 40 minutes
Every round will have a different course design. The venue allows for fast techincal racing over tarmc, grass and rolling terrain. It drains very well and will be ridable in all weather conditions.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NON RANKING, NON LEAGUE EVENT. It is designed be run with minimum fuss and maximum enjoyment. Final placings (not times) will be given, and points allocated to form an INFORMAL league table for the 6 rounds. No prizes are at stake...you are racing for fun and bragging rights!
Entry will be available online through the BC link or on the day. No license required.
Entry discounts are avilable if booked in advance through the BC website.
Pre booking: £5 under 12's and 16's, £10 all others
