Event Overview

Tour de Forth is a registered charity set up to organise Lothian and Fife's round the Forth sportif with two local charities; Mercy Corps with their European HQ in Edinburgh and the well known Cash for Kids. The route starts at Ingliston and is 97.3 Km (60.5 miles) to match Radio Forth's 97.3FM who are supporting the event.

It will be an open road event utilising many of the back roads and hills around West Lothian and the Forth coast.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The sportif is 97.3Km with around 750m of ascent so open to all. A staged start is planned at the reasonable hour of 9am to avoid a queue at Kirkliston traffic lights. The riders will be asked to group based on expected time to complete the route. 

The event will close at 5pm so riders need to be able to complete the circuit in less than 8 hours. Leaving the feed station before 2pm and crossing the Forth road bridge by 4pm. The bike marshalls, sweep van and route signage will be cleared by these times.
