Event Overview

A new concept in cycle racing.

Ever wondered who is faster, a road rider, a mountain biker, a BMXer, a cycle speedway rider?  The list goes on and on……

As part of the VIP opening of Full Gas Bikes on Saturday 11th June we will be hosting our inaugural SPRINT GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIPS, pitting every type of rider against each other on their 'chosen' bike.

There are only two rules, every bike MUST have at least one brake and all riders must be wearing fully compliant safety equipment, including helmets.

The programme will include heats, followed by finals.  Race distance is 100m from a standing (held) start.

Categories include; Senior Men, Senior Women and Youth A/B Boys and Girls.

Info for Riders

Before entering any races please ensure that you have read and understood ALL of the event information.

Our events are run under British Cycling Technical Regulations and overseen by a team of British Cycling commissaires. 

All equipment – including clothing – must be fully compliant and riders are solely responsible for the condition and set-up of their bikes and all associated items.

Riders compete at their own risk.

Riders who have full or provisional British Cycling Membership are required to present their membership card or racing licence at sign-on.

This must include a signature, emergency contact details and a photograph of suitable likeness.  Incomplete racing licences are NOT valid and a day licence fee will be charged.  Day Licence fees will also be charged for riders who do not hold full membership.
