Our 28th Ride for Ryder annual cycling event has taken on a new feel with different routes for 2016, perfect if you’re looking for a wonderful leisurely day out or a serious challenge. 

Supported by British Cycling our new Sportive offers a fun, non-competitive event for all with signed routes taking you through Gloucestershire's glorious countryside. Whichever route you choose you can also be sure that you’re supporting your only inpatient hospice in Gloucestershire!

With all proceeds going to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice to help provide incredible care for people living with life-limiting conditions across Gloucestershire why not sign up with friends, family or colleagues and make it a ride to remember!

Please note Children must be over the age of 14yrs on Event Day to take part, this includes on the day sign up's. 

All riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and adult (21 yrs +) on the day of the event, as well as completing a parental consent form.

Info for Riders

Starting and finishing at Dean Close school in Cheltenham we’re offering a choice of three sportive challenges – a 23km route, 85km route for novice cyclists and 125km route offering a challenge for more experienced cyclists. (14yrs+ only event)

Your registration fee will include

  • Changing facilities, toilets and showers available at Start/Finish
  • Limited onsite parking (arrive early to avoid dissapointment)
  • Medical and Mechanical support at Start/Finish
  • A food voucher for a complimentary post ride hot meal
  • Feed station (for 85km and 125km routes)
  • Prepare for the event with RideSmart
