Event Overview

Set in the beautiful scenery of North Norfolk the Burnham Market Nursery School Mid Summer a sportive with your choice of either 50 Miles or 50 Km (approx!) with all profits going to the Nursery School. The route shows off the countryside of the area, and whilst it’s not a climber’s paradise, proves that Norfolk isn’t flat!

Both routes start at the Nursery School, where sign-on and registration will be in the primary school hall. The 50 Mile route heads south towards the birth place of Admiral Nelson, Burnham Thorpe, before returning to Burnham Market Via North Creake. The course then goes to Docking and Syderstone, with an optional rest stop at South Creake where food, drink & toilets will be available for riders. The next half of the route heads towards the shrine at Little Walsingham and the priory village of Binham before returning to the start/finish via Warham, Wells-Next-The-Sea and Holkham Estate.

If your not feeling upto riding 50 Miles on the day there will also be a 50 Km option which follows much of the 50 Mile route but cuts out some of the western side of the route. The entry covers you for either route so choose on the day depending on how you feel.

There will also be a much shorter route (approx 6 Miles or 50 Furlongs!) aimed at families wanting a short ride, entry for this will be on the day at £2.50 per rider.
