Event Overview

The Burnley Bash makes up the 3rd event in our climbers sportives trilogy (Madness on the Moors and Pushing in the Peaks) being the other 2.

So if you’re looking for the challenge of not only completing one hilly event this summer but 3 of the toughest event on the calendar then this is a must for you.  A special award will be presented to participants of all 3 events.

 

For this event we are offering 2 routes, the first is The Full Bash with a distance of 122km/ 76 miles and the second is the Slightly less of a Bashing which is 79km/ 49 miles, as you would expect both route have some loads of climbing!!! 

At our event you can expect:

  • HQ Facilities
  • A clearly signed/arrowed route
  • GPX route maps
  • Starting line gifts
  • Feed stations en route
  • Mechanical support
  • Medical support
  • Event photographer
  • Chip timing for an instant post-event time
  • Gold, silver and bronze finishing time.
  • Separate women award times
  • Online certificates
  • Refreshments at the finish 
  • Event T-Shirt

Registration opens at 7.30am - set off riding at any time between 8.00 and 9.30am.
