Event Overview
The Cycle Wiltshire Sportives take place on Sunday 2 October 2016 where a variety of routes are available for all abilities. All routes start and finish at Five Rivers Heath and Wellbeing Centre in Salisbury.
Cycle Wiltshire Sportives
The 2016 Cycle Wiltshire Sportives will take place over three routes:
- 85 miles – Long Route (Single entry £30pp, or Group of 6 £25pp)
- 43 miles – Medium Route (Single entry £25pp, Under 16 £5 or Group of 6 £20pp, or under 16 entry £5)
- 10 miles – Short Route (Single entry £10pp, Under 16 £5 or Family entry £20 - maximum 2 adults and 3 children U16) - please provide detials of one adult to enter this, with additional names completed as free text.
PLEASE NOTE: The adult to child (under 16) ratio for all sportive routes is 1:2. Under 16 places must be registered online and be accompanied by a paying adult on the day (not applicable for family entry).
On the Day Entry
On the day entries are subject to an additional £5 fee and no team discounts will be available. If route distances have sold out in advance they may be unavailable to enter on the day.
The roads used for the Cycle Wiltshire Sportive are quiet, offer stunning views of the Wiltshire countryside with some tough climbs along the way.
Wiltshire is a truly beautiful county and people are encouraged to make the most of this special weekend. They can take part in the Sportive, and then enjoy the excitement and adrenaline rush of the Cycle Wiltshire Grand Prix the following day. Wiltshire has so much to offer, and while in the county, people should take time to visit other historic and fascinating sites.

Sportive includes: fully risk assessed routes, chip timing, directional signage and food stops as well as first aid and mechanical support. Post ride food, goody bag and a medal is also included in the price of entry!
