The Race

Watford Velo Sport are proud to be hosting the Club's first Road Race on the exciting and challenging Toddington circuit in Bedfordshire, with support from our local independant bike shop and Club sponsor Cycleopedia Ltd.

Regional B Road Race - 3rd & 4th Category: senior & junior Men, all categories of senior & junior Women..

Central Road Race League Road Race with priority to members of Leauge affiliated Clubs.

The Course

Starting in Toddington, the route descends down into the village of Tingrith, passing through Eversholt, before heading back towards Toddington via. Milton Bryan.

Riders will complete 5 laps of the rolling 9 mile circuit to give a total of 45miles.

The Club formed in 2009 to encourage and support members who share a passion for all kinds of cycling and triathlon. We welcome members who are new to riding or triathlon and either want to improve in their performance, or simply want to ride in the company of others. WVS aims to support every member through advice, support and camaraderie. 

Club members are very active in all aspects of competition including road racing, time trialling, cyclocross, mountain biking, however, still enjoy recreational rides. The Sunday club run is still the most popular ride of the week. We are affiliated to both British Cycling and British Triathlon
