Go-Ride U12 Hill Climb

Closed Circuit , Chesterfield – Saturday, 10 Oct 2015

Event Summary

Event Overview

A Hill Climb Challenge for U12 Go-Ride racers.

10th October we are running the 2nd edition of the Bolsover and District Cycling Club Go-Ride Hill Climb challenge at Poolsbook Country Park, coupled together with a 30 minute coaching session on climbing techniques, skills and gear selection

Inspired by the huge success of the Hardwick Hill climb the club recently hosted, and the on-going hillclimb competitions locally ... it feels fitting to offer the younger members the chance to experience the same thrill as they race the clock on a measured gradient with rousing support.

The hill we have chosen is around the rear of the lakes at Poolsbrook Country Park, we will meet in the main Car Park at 10am and ride around to the hill together, with 30 minutes of coaching, then a couple of timed efforts up the hill..a 650m, 81ft climb
