Event Overview

We are pleased to announce we have rescheduled Coppa Zappi 4 Cat 2/3 to Sunday 6 September 1pm. The BC listing for this event will go live in the next few weeks. Your entry will be manually transferred across unless you wish a refund. If the latter please email jb@fuelit.co.uk by 15 August - this will leave us time to hopefully fill the remaining places. We will also offer a Cat 4,womens race and youth races on the same day as one off races.

Coppa Zappi is a Crit series based at Enstone (Great Tew) closed circuit. The Crit Series will run 4 races over 4 weeks - the first 3 races will be heats resulting in a finals race in Week 4. There will be:

BC Race Points per race
Bonus Sprint Lap Primes
the inaugural Coppa Zappi trophy
winner's jersey and flowers.

Adult races £14 per race. Youth A and B rates £7, C and D £6, E Cat £5. Wednesday 17 June, 24 June, 1 July, 15 July. Block booking for all four races available to guarantee your place.

Enstone (Great Tew) circuit is a new venue that features in the British Cycling Race Smart video series filmed for the Global Cycling Network. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/racesmart. We strongly recommend riders use the warm up sessions available on the circuit to familiariise themselves with this new technical course.

Youth warm up 5.30pm. 6pm Youth Cat C and D race on circuit - 20 min. 6pm Cat E race on Go Kart circuit - 20 min. 6.20pm - 10 min warm up. 6.30pm Youth A and B race - 30 min. 7pm Adult warm up. 7.10pm Cat 4 Race - 30 min + 3 laps. 7.45pm Cat 2/3 Race - 45 min +3 laps.

Head towards Banbury town centre, then take the A361 towards Bloxham and Chipping Norton for approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto the B4022 signposted Enstone/The Tews, continue for approx 3 miles turn left, this will be sign posted for ‘VMS’ on the approach to the entrance, follow this drive for approximately ½ mile arriving at our car park.
