Macaroni Wood Charity Cycle Ride

Cycle Sportive , Cirencester – Saturday, 06 Jun 2015

Registered Sportive

Event Summary

Event Overview

Join us on the 6th June to help raise money for the Noah's Ark Children's Venture
To help us reach our £5000 fundraising target for Noah’s Ark Children’s Venture we also ask that everyone taking part try and raise a minimum of £100 from friends, family, colleagues etc. It will be a fantastic weekend covering 90 miles of some of the most beautiful parts of the British countryside and a fantastic party to end on however it's important to understand that the purpose of the event is to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Venture so, as we explained above, the charity can maintain it's core ethos which is helping those that need it the most.

In order to make this as easy and efficient as possible everything we've mentioned here will be provided for free. All we ask is that you make a donation of £35 Per Person to help cover our costs.

About the Event

Info for Riders

For the more casual rider who doesn't fancy a 90 mile slog (the more sensible of you) you will be able to take a train from London and join the party at 50 mile or 30 mile distance intervals from Macaroni Wood. To ensure everything runs smoothly during the ride we will be providing a backup vehicle to carry your bags, provide first aid, water, and either a BBQ or sandwich lunch en route. Your prize for completing this noble bike ride is a 'proper job' West Country ale and cider party at Macaroni Wood, with aBBQ and salad feast on arrival, an array of fine beers and ciders straight from the barrel, campfire, swings, a BMX track, live music and a multitude of DJ's playing rootsy summer music far into the night. For those of you that have been to a party at Macaroni Wood you will know there are not many better venues this side of the M40 for a summer party. For those of you that haven't, here is your chance! There are 50 beds available with priority going to cyclists first, plus plenty of space for cam
