Derby Velodrome Coaching Session - Cluster 2 11:30-2:30pm

Event Overview

These sessions are aimed at developing track riders technique and skill. Session format:

The three groups wil be working on a 20min rotation basis which will ensure that each group gets 1 hour of track time. Each group will work with the same coach over the full 3 hour session to ensure riders are benefitting from coach experience on and off the track.

Novice Group - This session is for 16 and under aged riders who have no or little prior track riding experience - general guideline: would be 0 - 4 hours previous track time.

Intermediate Group - This session is for 16 and under aged riders who have moderate track riding experience - general guideline: 4+ hours previous track time. Riders must be able to ride anywhere on the track, ride and change position in line safely.

Advanced Group - This group is for riders aged 16 and under who have a lot of experience in track cycling and are preparing for the accreditation with the venue.

This session is open to riders in the following Go-RIde clubs - Rutland Rouleur, Halesowen CC, VC Lincoln Bourne Wheelers and Stratford CC
