Event Summary

Event Overview

The Green Jersey is proud to present the inaugral 100km Autumn sportive.  The route will follow a loop anti clockwise around the Lancashire/Yorkshire border, taking in the spectacular climb of Bowland Knotts (hence the Sportive name), looping back around the beautiful Ribble Valley back to The Green Jersey for hot soup.

We would like to encourage riders to cycle year round and become winter warriors not just summer softies! With appropriate clothing and lighting cycling can be enjoyable whatever the season.

In the weeks preceding the sportive we are able to offer advice to riders on appropriate equipment and clothing, and those who have already entered online will be able to take advantage of 10% off winter clothing.

The ride will take in quiet roads around the Ribble Valley and head out as far as Giggleswick on the 100km route. It will be well signed and marshalled, and there will be hot drinks and food available back at The Green Jersey in Clitheroe.

There will a tea and cake stop at Wigglesworth (tbc), and a cafe stop at Slaidburn.

All riders will receive a cup of soup and a roll post event.
